Ain't a Rhyme

Here’s a rhyme at Christmas time

But it doesn’t really fit

I started out with such promise

And ended up with not good

Trying to learn a meter or two

While I sipped a little Fanta

I thought of you and the colour blue

found I was rhyming with wood

I feel like I am winning more

My rhyming’s on the rise

I tell myself I can for sure

But it’s all a pack of could

So time will tell lessons gone

If I’m wrong or I am right

I might’ve changed a little strong

Or it may all just be should!!!
