Natures Teasing

The clouds have been teasing all day drifting across, blowing away passing by not wanting to stay late afternoon last of the washing. Not damp, not dry hangs listlessly on the line that’s when the clouds decide yep, it’s time! first a spit, then a spatter then down it comes for a minute or three what does it matter? brief respite then another shower clouds lift, gentle blue peeps through but will it rain again?
