Debt

About my little credit card

I don’t have much to say

my limits a thousand dollars

so there’s not too much too pay

I’m not good at finances

I stand here for all that I am worth

I’ve not amassed any savings or assets

In my time upon this earth

I count my blessings in friendship

And in the love I’ve given away

Seven children that love me

Seven grandchildren till this day

I’ve got a few credits from upstairs

For some good deeds that I have done

I’ve a few red cards for other some things

Things that I let come undone

When my time is over

And I’m called on to the other side

Whether its upstairs or downstairs

Only God will decide.
