Day 1 - Ready Set Go

Friday (Bolela Qld) “Black Dog Red Centre Ride” 2022 3rd time lucky (BDRCR)

Went to bed last night

a head full of dreams

everything packed and ready

all brand new and clean

The ride to the start

was one big traffic jam

we predicted that so

leaving early was our plan

Met a few BDR friends

at the sign in

heaps of smiles

and lots of grins

Got in a few words with “Youngie”

a super busy man

I’ll catch up with him later

We'll talk when we can

The mood is so different

so many new faces

everyone's still in a hurry

those city life embraces.
