Tuesday BDRCR 2022 (Mt Isa Qld)

Pulled from photos taken

At night without a flash

Charcoal statuettes stand

like sentinel of ash

Some reach out like fingers

crossed between Edward and Freddie

some will stand for years

others rot on the ground already

All the leaves have gone

They do not move with e breeze

I wonder if they have feelings

Theses apparent everlasting trees
