Day 7 - Traversing the Sunshine State (Alice Springs NT )

Thursday. 11/08/2022.

The sun was on my right side

sunset was on the left

that was the was it was

the first few days we left

The sunrise was on my back

the sunset was in my eyes

we had changed direction

that came as no surprise

The sunrise was on my left side

the sunset was to the right

the stars were looking brighter

so dark was the glorious night

The sun came up the sun went down

this happened every flamin day

‘‘twas the longest ‘follow the leader’

I ever had to play.
